Tea for Two Hundred is a Donald Duck short released 24 December 1948.
Summary[]
Donald Duck has a picnic at his campsite in the mountains. Soon a line of ants marches past Donald, each carrying a grain harvested in the wild. Donald takes interest in the straggler, a small ant carrying a large bean. Donald tests the ant to see how much he can carry. The ant continues to march as Donald balances several food items on it. Donald makes the ant walk a tightrope, then plucks the string causing the ant to fall into a large custard pie.
The ant is angry with Donald at first, but when he tastes the pie and sees all of Donald's food, he becomes elated. He enthusiastically runs back to the ant colony and tells the ants about all of the food. The ants call the entire colony together using mushrooms as drums.
Later, while Donald is napping against a tree next to his picnic basket, a small team of ants sneak up on him. They open the basket, but Donald, still asleep, instinctively puts his hand over the basket to keep the ants out. Then a large group of ants pick him up and carry him to a cliff where they throw him into the water below. He squawks angrily and races back up the cliff just in time to see the ants are carrying his food into their hole and tries to stop them. The ants huddle and make a plan, then face Donald, who exclaims "Oh, yeah?" as he gets ready. The ants tackle Donald as if playing football. As he tries grab his food directly from their hole, the ants pull off Donald's shirt as well. The modest duck puts on a barrel, then shoves several sticks of dynamite down the anthill and ignites them. Immediately after the explosion, Donald laughs and has seemingly had the last say against the ants. Yet moments later, the ground around Donald starts to crack from the explosion, and a large part of the cliff falls away. Donald falls into the water a second time, squawking as he does.
The ant colony congregates around a large cupcake. The little ant whom Donald had been harassing runs to the top and takes a big bite out of the cherry.
